Our January 3, 2009 Care Package packing day plans are just getting started. We'll start at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning and work until we are done, generally about noon. Lunch is provided.

We could use experienced volunteers on Friday, January 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. as well. If you are able to be here that day, please contact the office, 573-449-2003 to let us know.

Please remember if you need a hotel room at $59 night with Courtyard Marriott, you need to contact our office directly. The rooms go quickly, so call early!

This will be a special day for our Marines and volunteers. We'll be shipping boxes that include holiday wishes. Volunteers in attendance will have an opportunity to stick around after packing and lunch to attend a presentation on MarineParents.com from the founder and director, Tracy Della Vecchia.
